Lost my K800i

I was at the New York Pizza at Century Square eating dinner with Yenting and Jiahui. We first sat at a table
nearest to the road which had an shaky tabletop. We later changed to another table. After we finished the meal,
we went into the Century Square building to wash hands. Then we passed by the NASF exhibition and part our
ways at the Tampines MRT station. I discovered my loss of handphone at this point when I go through my
posessions. I immediately return to the New York Pizza and could not find it. The service staff there helped me
called my number and it was switched off. Lost. It was not just my handphone lost. I felt helpless. I went home and nobody was around. My house phone could not make those autoteller calls. I didn't know what to do. At this point I was in dispair. I suddenly felt that even if I died at this point, nobody knows. I felt awfully helpless. I was very angry with myself. I regretted for not wearing skirt with pockets. I regretted for not bringing a bag instead of the waist pouch. (I have not used it for very long time) I was so used to either holding in my hand or putting it in the bag. Damn suay day.. I felt that I lost part of me.. my numbers, my anut's contact, my pictures, my friends, my colleagues, my ex-colleagues. Oh damn.. gonna lose so many of them until they one fine day contact me. It is like my com newly formated and all the documents and favourites are gone. The after effect is I have no money for a new phone. I still have to pay for a new SIM card. Hope this is the worst it can get and lady luck please smile at me from tomorrow onwards. -.-" (this incident made me cried for 1 hr).. i will remember 28th April 07...

Com temporarily up

Last Sat I ultimately managed to reformat and install windows onto my com. However the bad news was, my wireless USB adapter also died. Initially I wanted to buy on the next day on Sunday but was too tired to go anywhere. So lucky~! There is wireless adapter promotion today. ASUS' wireless adapter costs only $32. The external harddisk also cheap. It costs $125 for 120GB. I suspect that this price excludes the casing. Anyway I still think that it would be a greater bargain at the PC show coming. Hope I get a good buy after work later. ^_^

My com down again..

31 Mar 07 Sat - 10 am Virus attack.. I suspect via some port attacking... stopped suspicious executable processes and alert stopped after 2 hrs.
1 Apr 07 Sun - 10 am similar attack as above.. antivirus alert stopped after sometime... Com suddenly auto restarts and after loading windows, it restarted again... after 5 or 6 times.. i shut it off... After 30 min I tried to boot up but hung at POST.. shut off again
03 Apr 07 Tue - 9pm tried to troubleshoot and test with either of my ram, one could boot up while the other hung the POST. So I booted up with the other usable ram. In normal mode, the virus was still persistent.... I had to change to Safe mode and delete the infected file.... Back to normal mode, the virus was still active.... Therefore I booted back to safe mode and backed up my stuff to other virtual drives..... I formatted my system virtualdrive but my installation CD as spoilt.... haiz.. sway...
