Last but not least, the course sums up with a 6-month internship. Hopefully MDIS has the contacts for this internship. I will email to find out from them soon. The whole course fee is $28,800. The loan 's interest rate is cheaper for MDIS course at TCC. For a pauper like me, I think this educational institution would be the best choice.
My objective is very simple, I want to get out of a boring job and start a career of eventful experience. It is time for a change and get a degree level recognition too. Mass communication was my 1st ambition last time but I am not very confident of my writing skills now. I might have been able to write and express pretty well during my A levels, owing the credits to reading news paper weekly and writing reviews, it is definitely not the case now. I loved writing reviews especially when the articles showed some critical issues happened at that point of time. Now, after 1 year of JAVA programing, I think I could only "write" JAVA. Looking back at the time when I had to write article reviews, it was really "shiok" to criticise the article without having to bear any consequences. Just to make the point, I did not make personal accusation or written assaults to anyone, all I did was giving honest remarks. Haha.. Maybe I should start writing again reflecting what I read or see in the news reports. It would stimulate my thinking and broaden my horizons. How I wished I could see my GP lecturer again and tell her how much I appreciate her teaching methods. It really works splendidly especially for someone like me who never liked to read books or novels.
Another thing I would like to mention. There was once when we need to write book reviews for 2 books during the holidays, I did not even finish any of the books, because I did them only the last 2 nights before submission, but my reviews had grades for B+ and A. I felt guilty. All I did was to read the front chapter and ending. Well, it cannot be helped. The chapters in between were really draggy and boring. I kept falling asleep when reading them. Haha.. I wonder how many of my classmates also did the same or they just read the reviews from friends of other classes and submitted their assignment? It leaves a question unanswered...
Anyway the most critical question comes back to me being what course to study. I am not that branding person, as long as I like the modules and I could find job with the paper qualification, it's the one. Now it seems that too many choices is bad for me.
